7. Intellectual property (IP) and confidentialityWar Board Method IPWBM and its parent company retain full ownership of:
- all underlying methodologies,
- frameworks,
- diagnostic structures, and/or
- generalized insights, patterns, and learnings.
- This includes the right to:
- use anonymized or aggregated insights,
- apply similar ideas, structures, or patterns in other client work, and
- continue developing and refining the diagnostic and related services.
No client-specific confidential information will be shared or reused.
You may use WBM insights and recommendations for your own business, but you may not:
- reproduce,
- distribute,
- resell, or
- claim ownership of the methodology itself.
Engaging in the WBM does not grant exclusivity over ideas, frameworks, or approaches that may be independently developed or used with other clients.
WBM and its parent company may use anonymized examples of client scenarios for educational or marketing purposes, unless the client explicitly requests otherwise in writing.
Client IPAll client-specific information shared during the WBM will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
You retain full ownership of any intellectual property, ideas, materials, or proprietary information you share during the WBM.
Nothing in this agreement transfers ownership of your intellectual property to the provider.
Recording & quality assuranceTo ensure the highest level of accuracy in your final deliverable, all live sessions are recorded. These recordings are used primarily by WBM and its parent company for internal review and clarification purposes. With your explicit written permission upon booking, portions of recordings may also be used for methodology and educational content.
